Who am I?
First and foremost I am a wife to an amazingly supportive husband who puts up with me spending endless hours editing photos, a mum to two beautiful girls who inspire me every day, and a lover of puppies, especially our dog, Gracie!

Of course, I'm also a photographer!
You might be expecting me to tell you about how I’ve always dreamed of being a photographer and how I’m now an expert who’s been taking photos her whole adult life. Well, let’s be honest, that’s not me at all.
Like so many others, my path to becoming a professional photographer has certainly not been a simple, straight line.

About Me

Although I’ve always loved taking photos, my passion for photography was only ignited when my two girls and my niece started playing netball in 2012.
I started out like many other parents, cheering from the side lines, and soon found myself taking action photos of all the girls in our club and posting them on Facebook for all of their families to see.
What I loved most about this, was how happy the parents were to see photos of their daughters doing something they love. And, of course, the kids loved seeing their own photos on social media!
In 2018, I ventured into taking official team photos for our club, while still posting action photos every week of the competition.
In 2019, my oldest daughter had her School Formal. I absolutely loved the photos I took and that's when my family started encouraging me to become a 'professional photographer'. This seemed so scary at the time, but I knew I had the support of my family.

As I look back at those photos now, it's clear to me that I have learnt so much about photography since then and these photos seem like such a disappointment! But, I also realise that the actual photos are not really as important as the memories and emotions they evoke. When I look at these photos, I can't help but think about how beautiful she looked, how proud I was of her and what an incredibly special day this was.

This is what I want more than anything for you!
I want you to be able to look back at your photos and not only remember those special moments, but also remember what you were feeling. Whether it's pride in a sporting achievement, hope for a bright future or pure love for those who are closest to you - I want to be there to capture it.
I truly hope that I will be able to help you and your family capture and treasure your special moments too!
Why Choose Me?
Experienced, Professional, and Passionate
With over 20 years of combined experience as both a school teacher and photographer, I bring a unique blend of patience, understanding, and technical expertise to every session. Whether I’m capturing the action of a netball game or creating timeless portraits, you can count on me to deliver high-quality images that reflect your story and your spirit.
Every Detail Matters
I believe it’s the little things that make a photo truly stand out. From lighting and composition to editing and presentation, I pay close attention to every detail to ensure your images are polished, professional, and personal. Your photos won’t just look great - they’ll feel meaningful.

Flexible and Adaptable
No two shoots are the same, and that’s exactly how I like it. Whether I’m working in fast-paced sporting environments or more controlled portrait sessions, I adapt to each setting with ease. I work closely with teams, clubs, families, and individuals, adjusting my approach to suit the moment and your vision. Unless I have sessions booked back-to-back, I'm not one to watch the clock, so you don't have to worry too much if you're running a little late or our session runs over time. I would rather you arrive for your session feeling relaxed and energised than stressed and flustered. Taking the time to ensure we are going to be able to achieve the goals you have set for our session is more important to me than running to a strict time schedule.
A True Collaboration
You’re not just booking a photographer - you’re partnering with someone who cares about your goals. I take a collaborative approach, working closely with you from start to finish to ensure we achieve the results you’re after. Your input is valued, your ideas are heard, and together we can create something special.
Fast Turnaround, Hassle-Free Delivery
I understand how important timely delivery is, especially when you're excited to see your images or need them for an event or publication. That’s why I commit to delivering your photos promptly, through a secure, password-protected online gallery that’s easy to access and share.

Affordable, Transparent Pricing
Great photography should be accessible. My pricing is competitive and clearly communicated, with no hidden fees. I also offer flexible payment options - cash, credit card, or bank transfer - to suit your needs.

Working with Children — With Care and Confidence
As a registered Blue Card holder, I meet all the requirements for working safely with children. My background as a teacher means I understand how to engage with young people respectfully and positively, helping them feel at ease during photo sessions.
Personalised Club Branding
I go the extra mile to make your team photos and portraits feel truly yours. That includes incorporating your club’s logo and colours into the final images, giving your photos a professional, polished, and cohesive look that reflects your team identity.
A few fun (well, at least slightly interesting) facts about me and my family...

Wyndham
My husband is my rock and my biggest supporter. He always makes sure I have what I need - I can be so forgetful!

Chanté
My oldest daughter is one of my biggest inspirations, and I love that I get to share my passion with her - you might see this beautiful face a few times on my website!

Jacquie
I hate that my baby girl is now taller than me, but I love that she has a heart of pure gold. She has also spent hours helping me choose photos to share on my socials!

Gracie

Travel
Gracie has the most gorgeous eyes - this photo doesn't do them justice! She loves to play fetch, but is getting a little slower in her old age, she is over 14-years-old now.
I love to travel! Here's one of my favourite photos from Florence, Italy.
